IRREGULAR VERBS
These are the most common irregular verbs in English.
All living languages change. English is changing, too. Because of this change, some words have two forms of the past or past participle. Usually one form is used more in British English and the other form is used more in American English.

2 If you hang a thing, the verb is irregular. But if you hang a person, the verb is regular. Examples: Mona hung the picture on the wall. The police hanged the killer.
3 Lay means to put something down. Many people confuse this with lie (to have your body flat on something or to get into this position) because the past of lie is lay. Don’t you make the same mistake!
